Flower Kings Instrumental offspring "Circus Brimstone" will release
a Live CD named "BrimStoned In Europe" on September 20th in the
tradition of recent "Live Official Bootlegs". It will be released as
a Official bootleg and will be sold on the TFK website shop (merch
section), at live shows and assorted mailorders and through the
regular sources.

The
fanclub CD called "Harvest" fanclub CD 2005 is now finished and will
be mailed out with the next issue of the fanzine. It is a full
length extravaganza that explores a bit of worldmusic vibe coupled
with pure symphonic prog. Original compositions by Bodin, Reingold
and Stolt as well as a track from the upcoming Moonsafari CD that
Tomas has produced and played some keys on.

Jem Godfrey, ex keyboard player of early 90's prog band Freefall, is back with his new band Frost. Recording for the album "Million Town" is well underway and an early 2006 release date is currently scheduled. Kino/Arena guitarist and singer John Mitchell provides the bulk of the guitar duties along with ex-Rook guitarist John Boyes. The recording of the Tangent's third studio album is now taking place at a variety of locations throughout Europe. New Members Jaime Salazar and Krister Jonsson have been recording with Jonas Reingold, Andy Tillison and Theo Travis in Sweden, Guy Manning has been recording in the UK and France. more sessions are planned at all venues, with a view to completing the album around October for release early in the new year. At present, no title for the album has been decided, but there are several possibilities. At the time of writing it does look all set to be the first Tangent double CD set. Andy Tillison has told us that... "this is the Tangent's most ambitious project to date and features at least two large scale pieces as well as some shorter and easily accessible pieces. It also features some interesting departures. The new band is great, it proved that on the recent tour, and it's terrific to be recording the new album with that lineup." Anubis Gate Message on the Progpower site: After the cancellation of NOVEMBERS DOOM we have discussed what band we would like as a replacement. Because we do have a few bands that already played before, we wanted a band that hardly had played in The Netherlands and never played ProgPower before. From the bands we had in mind, ANUBIS GATE was on top of our list. In just one day we came to an agreement with the band, so we now officially announce ANUBIS GATE as the replacement for NOVEMBERS DOOM. This band from Denmark releases their second CD right now, entitled "A Perfect Forever", and so far it receives excellent reviews from the international press. We are sure this is a good replacement and we hope that you all agree. ANUBIS GATE will play as second band on Saturday, THROES OF DAWN will now play just before the diner break and ORPHANED LAND will play after the break.
DVD PT will be shooting the forthcoming concert at the Park West in Chicago on November 10th 2005 in the hopes of releasing this as their very first live document on digital video... Steven Wilson - Cover Version III (HDSWCD15) was recorded in July this year, and is the third in the ongoing series of two track CD singles featuring an unpredictable cover version, and an original song inspired by the cover version. Once again limited to just 1,000 copies, this third cover version departs somewhat from the unplugged format of the first two, being a more electronic treatment of the song in question. Total running time of the CD is approx 10 minutes, and it comes in a clear crystal case with no other artwork. The intention is that once the series is complete there will be a special package to house all of the discs. The first two Cover Version CD singles sold out very quickly so if you would like a copy please place your order soon. Sony BMG Masterworks/Columbia Records is proud to announce the release of "Ça Ira," Roger Waters long-awaited "operatic history of the French Revolution," on Tuesday, September 27. The lavish first edition of "Ça Ira," an opera in three acts for full orchestra, soloists and choirs, will include a double SACD DigiPack and a deluxe 60 page four-color booklet including Roger Waters' lyrics based on Etienne Roda-Gil's original French libretto, the original illustrations created by Nadine Roda-Gil, biographies of Waters and the opera's cast, background and production notes on the opera. As a bonus for Roger Waters fans, "Ça Ira" includes a special DVD documentary chronicling the "making of" the opera. QUEEN + Paul Rodgers
have issued a live album on September 12th - to be followed in six
weeks by a DVD. Recorded at Sheffield on May 9th, the double CD
called "Return Of The Champions" omits only one song from the
show, "Under Pressure", but the rest is intact
CD Release "Colour Journey" and Release Party info --
Marcel Coenen from Sun Caged is currently working on his second solo
release which will be an album half filled with vocal songs. A Lot
of great guest musicians play on this album.
The CD "Colour Journey" will be released on January 27th. This is a
bit later then expected but in general it is better to release the
album then because I am also busy planning a great Release Party.
