www.insideout.de We're only in it for the spacerock CD (Trans 008) So this week the FIRST BAND FROM OUTER SPACE hit the street, and have already got several good reviews. A small description : Debut album from Swedish gang, and this is something out of this world ! A band where you find influences going from the sounds of GONG and HAWKWIND to kraut / hippy feelings of TRAD, GRAS & STENAR and adding flutes and oscillators. This is a CD that carry long instrumental jams, broken by sci-fi stories in English vocals. Always very structured, with plenty stoned and psychedelic cosmic sounds. Have already received superb reviews in several magazines & internet fanzies.(source: band’s website)
Tales of Imperfection Symphonic rockband Flamborough Head from Holland is glad to present you their newest album “Tales of Imperfection”. The long awaited fourth studio album contains long pieces and is the logic successor of “One for the Crow” from 2002. “Tales of Imperfection” is considered by the band as more grown-up stuff, as a result of the cooperation of a line-up that hasn’t changed during the last five years. All of this is expressed in the composition and production. Cyclops Records promises the release to be in October. Look for more details on www.flamboroughhead.nl or www.gft-cyclops.co.uk The new website by prog-italian bros. The CITRINITI bros. (drums and bass players) are pleased to announce their new website! Greg’s
fabulous new band comprises four of the finest musicians in the
world today VIOLENT SILENCE SIGNS TO PROGRESS RECORDS Violent Silence is a Swedish band with an excellent drummer, a brilliant bass player, two superb keyboardists and a very good vocalist, who makes music with a kind of Bruford/UK/Gong feel to it. Recently they signed to Progress Records. The new album "Kinetic" is nearly finished and will see the light of day shortly.
www.progressrec.com Better Later Than Never The search is over. Surrender is finally here. This is one of the rarest AOR/Melodic rock cds out there. Surrender delivers brilliant classic 80s AOR/Rock. Surrender should have been a household name blending stellar musicianship, great catchy lyrics, and huge vocal harmonies. This is a MUST HAVE cd for fans of Survivor, Hybrid Ice, and Bad English. This is one of the best indie cd's you will ever here. Take a listen and judge for yourself!
Here are a few words concerning the re-release of a recording that was never released in the first place. It's been rescued because of the tenacity and enthusiasm of the fans of this music, who discovered it all by themselves from copies that somehow made their way around the world. Perhaps you are one of these original fans. Thank you. This music was largely written and recorded from early 1987 through late 1989, in the shadows between the twilight of the Reagan Era and the Dawn of Digital; it is very much a ghostly blast from that past, in all its magnificent excess and innocence of anxiety. Thus this release, which is completely fan-driven, and available at a price any fan can afford. And it sounds great! We've added three songs that didn't make it onto the original Surrender CD, and re-mastered the songs to offer improved audio fidelity along with the louder level required these days for a competitive musical presentation.
