LANDMARQ
We regret to announce the news that keyboard player Gonzalo Carrera
and Landmarq have parted company.
Due to increasing commitments aside from Landmarq, it was becoming
more and more difficult for Gonzalo to devote the necessary time to
the band that is required.
This was an extremely difficult band decision that was not taken
lightly. Gonzalo is a fine keyboard player and musician who has
brought his own unique and individual approach and personality to
the band over the last two years. We consider Gonzalo a friend and
he will always be a part of the Landmarq family. All of us in
Landmarq wish Gonzalo every success with all that he chooses to do
in music.
Following further arrangements,
Gonzalo's replacement will be announced shortly. As reported
previously, recording of the bands next studio album is already
under way and is expected to continue.

the present.

Brother Ape
BROTHER APE DISARMED
Brother Ape, the Swedish prog rock band who received raving reviews
for their debut album "On the other side", recently released on the
Progress Records label, has lost a member. Peter Dahlstrom, who took
the lead vocals on about 60% of the tracks, has left the band for
personal reasons and will move from Stockholm for a new life in a
small town. The band says:
"The remaining Brothers are not paralyzed by this.
We will continue our work with the next album! It sounds better than
ever
and with Viktor Rundlöf as the "head commander" of the mixing desk,
we
feel that we stand on solid ground. Of course some changes will be
made. We have to re-record some parts to fit the new Brother Ape
line up and have Stefan taking the lead vocals on all tracks. But
since we actually had two bass players and two vocalists, it is just
a matter of "symbolic sanitation" for us that still hold the flag of
Brother Ape. It's a fresh challenge that inspires us very much and
we whish our dear friend Peter a happy and healthy life!"
