Fish - Return to Childhood Tour

Since Summer 2005 Fish has been on tour with his and Marillion's
masterpiece
"Misplaced Childhood". Sold out shows in South America, UK,
Netherlands and Scandinavia has brought Fish back on stage for
another stint in 2006. This time Belgium is back on the roadmap: 23/04/2006
Starting in
Limbourg at the Kursaal
Fish and his Band will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the
complete Misplaced Childhood Album, that hasn't been performed
within the past 20 years. Next to that Fish shows up with a best
of... his solo career. Finally he will close the shows with some
epic songs of the Marillions first albums. http://www.the-company.com/belgium/ Four more acts are confirmed to play the ROCK OF AGES, a new German festival set up by the makers of the German Hardrock and Heavy Metal festival BANG YOUR HEAD!!!. Besides SOUL DOCTOR and EVIDENCE ONE, Hardrock veterans URIAH HEEP and former MARILLION-singer FISH have joined the band-lineup. The event is set to take place July 28-29, 2006 in Seebronn (close to Rottenburg),Germany. The festival billing is shaping up as follows so far (3 more acts to be confirmed):

) is happy to announce that the recordings of the vocal tracks for
"Shakary 2006" have been successfully termiated last week. Noel Mccalla (voice on Mike Rutherford's "Small Creep's Day", Manfred Mann's Earth Band, and many other, www.noelmccalla.com ) re-recorded about 14 tracks of the double-cd album due to be released this year.

Different Places Keyboards and guitars are in process of being re-recorded and the artist's names are still top secret. We can only confirm that Walter Calloni's drums (ex-PFM) will not be re-recorded. Besides the first SHK release of the second Zenit ( www.fragile.net ) album "Surrender" feauturing ex-Clepsydra bass guitar player Andy Thommen and Changes' drummer Gigio Pedruzzi, a brand new Shakary (www.shakary.com ) studio album is planned to be released this year, as well as other surprises that are in the pipeline. On 27 March Threshold will release the brand new live CD Surface To Stage, featuring 10 tracks recorded in Switzerland during the last European tour. The 72 minute track list is:

The Aurora Project
The
band The Aurora Project has signed with the booking agency of Bold
Brothers Agency. The Belgian Agency, that works for a.o.
Marillion, Pain of Salvation and Alan Parsons, is going
to exclusively book the band for the Benelux.First events are a mini
tour in september with Riverside and VandenPlas. Message from the band:
Sideways is a symphonic/progressive rockband. Sideways brings
emotion, atmosphere and “bombast”. Sideways has an approved set-up
with voice, guitar, keys, bass and drums. The spherical carpet is
woven by Jurriaan. The pumping rythm is the work of Berry. The
bass-groove is from Corné. Gerwin is pulling the,
“pouring-your-heart-out”-strings and Alex is telling the
melodramatic stories. The band writes its own complex
song-structures in which the melody plays a major role. Unique drum-clinic and show by Ernst van Ee in Rotterdam On May 12th, Ernst van Ee will give a special performance in the Baroeg in Rotteredam in Holland. He will show his talent in a public drum clinic in which he will demonstrate some tricks from his professional drumming. After this clinic he will play a gig with Highway Chile, one of his bands.
Ernst van Ee one of Hollands best drummers. He played and plays not only in bands as Helloise, Ozzmosis, Highway Chile, Van Duuren Band and Threnody – but also travels around the world as drummer of Lana Lane andErik Norlander.
