Party-time for Stan Bush: this is his 10th studio album! And it opens with “I’ll Never Fall”, a real life-celebration song. I might as well say that the whole cd has this optimistic: “looking at the bright side of life” atmosphere. This music is feel-good melodic rock: Stan wrote the songs wit a little help from Holger Fath (who also is the producer, one of the keyboard players and the guitarist) and Curt Cuomo (Kiss, Eddie Money). I think that almost every song on this cd is a winner: “I Can’t Cry”, “This Moment”, “Waiting For You”, “Long Long Way”, “Over You”, “In This Life” and the breathtaking, beautiful, acoustic song: “Southern Rain” with Rocket Ritchotte (David Lee Roth, Gino Vanelli, Steve Miller, Rick Springfield). Stan is a born rockmusician who worked with Paul Stanley, Alice Cooper, Peter Frampton, and who wrote songs for different movies (Kickboxer, Bloodsport, Boogie Nights). On this cd he’s supported by a Matt Laug (Slash, Alice cooper…) who plays the drums in an excellent way, Dirk Nagel on keyboards and Lance Morrison (Alanis Morrissette, Don Henley) on bass. A cd for cosy moments to remember!
