Tourist is a
Vancouver based melodic rock band and also winner of the 2004”99.3
CFOX”s Vancouver Seeds Competition. Producer/mixer Mike Fraser (Metallica, Slipknot, The Cure, AC/DC) has completed mixing Tourist’s debut album (“The relevance of motion” was released in Canada last year and released in Europe: the 29th of September) and it is a fine one! A mix of pop rock/melodic rock/ nu metal and new wave: never dull! I love the (emotional) vocals, the catching guitar hooks/riffs, the perfect bass and drums and the clear sound of this cd. Favourite tracks: “Stay”, “Everytime We Touch” (the official single), “Throwing Stones” (fabulous song!), “LRT” (reminds me of U2), “Throw it away” (a potential hit song!) and the catching ‘Nothing between us“. |
