After Journey last year, Frontiers Records has added another major name to its roster: none other than Toto will release their new album, ‘Falling In Between’, though Frontiers on February 10th. ‘Bottom Of Your Soul’, the first single of the album, is a song in typical Toto style, reminiscent of past hits like ‘Pamela’ and especially ‘Africa’ – it also has that slightly African-flavoured atmosphere. This stands a good chance of scoring in the hit lists again – at least if there’s any justice in the world. Great vocals, excellent melody, some beautiful piano and guitar bits,… This song also features ex-singer Joseph Williams with an excellent contribution.
A
great appetiser for the new cd. |
