Moonlight is a band with many faces and styles. From touching ballads through catchy songs to heavy ones close to metal. 15 years in the band's history resulted in two demos, ten albums (produced by MMP) including one live album and a DVD. The band has a rich history which is fully described on their website and supported such bands as Deep Purple, Tiamat, Samael, Anathema, The Gathering, Pendragon and Mercyful Fate and did many successful concerts and festivals. Also for this album the band decided to do the recording in the Fonoplastykon studio with Marcin Bors as the sound engineer. This new album is marked by a small line-up change. After 9 years of cooperation, Maciek Każmierski (drums) decided to leave Moonlight due to lack of time for the full time commitment. Luckily, the band found a replacement in the name of Krzysztof Medrala (known from his work with Body Mind Relation). Also for the first time in the band's history there’s a guest appearance on the album. Adam Sypula from Ctrl-Alt-Del joined Maja on vocals in “Slice” and “Not My Politics”. While Marcin Bors worked on the last shape of the new album, Moonlight also played successful concerts in the biggest cities in Poland as opener for Riverside. As soon as you play the album you get drowned in a atmosphere, typical for the whole album. Sometimes dark, sometimes dreamy, experimental but always catchy. It’s a bit difficult to describe the album in a few words but the music oscillates around a broad concept of atmospheric rock with progressive, alternative and psychedelic elements with a bit of a disco-like feel. Though the album is very lyrical due to the warm and charming vocals of Maja Konarska. To brighten up this atmosphere the songs are filled with many experimental sounds and melodies that shows how universal Moonlight is.
