Wow, very pleasant
to write about this cd! FeefForward is a Dutch band (who exists for
5 years now) and who makes a mix of progressive rock and melodic
metal. I love the voice of the brilliant Bianca, the high level of music, the powerful sound (the more you listen to this cd the more you get!) Favourites: “Barefoot & Naked” opens with “Fade Away” a heavy and powerful rock song with a very fine guitar solo. The most sensitive: “Crossing the Line” with a dreamy and wonderful voice flirting with the instruments, “Innocence” very touching, catching, beautiful… “143”: extraordinary: real hard progressive music that brings me back to the 70’s, with a sensational nervous metal ending. “Our sky” dreamy piano ballad followed by the impressive “Before I Leave”: powerful and relaxed, heavy guitar solo’s, great riffs, marvellous percussion and of course that heavenly voice of Bianca! “Moving” is an instrumental: heavy drums, strong bass, intense guitars and great keyboards: play it loud en enjoy! Last but not least: “Stop Do Think”: sweet and dark at the same time: searching, exploring: discovering: great! Conclusion: fabulous cd: high level, wonderful voice and music that never bores! The best of the Netherlands! |
