nederlands Review

This is the first solo album from the Yorkshire-based multi instrumentalist Nog Cavanagh.
The man has worked with a number of bands including Liquid Hedgehog, The Secret Garden and Caustic Soup. "Everything Leads To Here" was recorded at his home studio between 2002 and 2004.
And then the music: multi-layered, extraordinary, no dull moment, a feast for the ears.
This is the champagne of space rock: bubbling, exiting and tasteful!
"Scorpia Mossmoon" starts very 80's, reminds me halfway of "Get Ready" from Rare Earth and ends with a bit chaos in the Milky Way.
"Tine Beams Of Light": the beats: irresistible! "A Quiet Reprieve" takes you (for more than 5 minutes) to another world with an ambient kind of psychedelic, most beautiful, very relaxing but also very professional and inspiring music!
"Accept This Gift" (which I gratefully will): a bit dark, very spacey: moon and stars dazzling and tumbling around your head: great work!
And then: "Samarkand": wow, what a performance: heavy as black velvet, this dark and mysterious muse is will take you in her arms and won't let go!
I think that Nog Cavanagh is one of the absolute masters of space rock: buy this cd and enjoy!
