nederlands Review

In hotel lobbies and elevators they often play a kind of music that is as superficial as it is boring. If this ‘muzak’ were needed in the ambient category, the cd’s of MaryAnn might be qualified for it. This combination of ambient and a slice of rock never pulls a string and becomes boring after two tracks. The production is very poor and the instruments sound as if everything were played on a very cheap keyboard. The bass is ever so irritating! The last cd is a bit better, but still…
Sometimes it’s a shame that artists don’t get the chance to sign for a record company. In other cases it’ quite obvious why.
